Can Hormone Replacement Therapy Reduce Aging?A study has been conducted proving that the long-term use of hormone replacement therapy in pre-menopausal women has shown a decrease in wrinkles and skin rigidity. The results were shown in women who had consistently used hormone therapy and had been post-menopausal for at least five years. Once the wrinkles had already shown up in women, there was no way to make them go away, but there was a way of preventing them, and that was hormonal replacement. Hormone replacement basically keeps skin more elastic. Hormones seem to keep the skin healthy, but can't reverse the effects of pre-existing skin damage.
